ESOTERIA is a publication that takes a deliberate look at things unknown. Our mission statement is to better understand the human condition by engaging with fields and experiences that have been otherwise dismissed.

We’re interested in work that is measured and thought-provoking. We aim to emphasize radically compassionate thinking and err on the side of optimism. We welcome any and all perspectives backed by the motivation of evolving human consciousness.

What, specifically, are we looking for?

We’re looking for personal essays, interviews, inquiries, open letters, recipes, meditations, book reviews, and any other formation of words and photos that look at the mystical, magical, supernatural, miraculous, metaphysical, and unknown.

We’re looking for work that takes a step back from our assumptions and conditioning to question the bigger picture.

Have you discovered parallels between two seemingly unrelated fields like dark matter and the unconscious or narrative and the fabric of reality? Do you want to investigate the brilliance of Co-Star and the impact of astrology on our modern society, defend your life’s calling as a tarot reader, or teach others how mythology can enrich their lives?

Tell us your ghost stories or what you found out when you opened the Akashic Records. We want to know how spell casting changed your life and what the plants told you the last time you tripped on mushrooms or meditated in the forest. Tell us what the modern person could learn from Helena Blavatsky or what Carl Jung was onto with Kundalini Yoga. There is no box.

Take a deep breath... What do you want the world to know?
