Essence Intelligence at the Citi Digital Money Symposium 2019, London

The Citi Digital Money Symposium (DMS) is London’s leading FinTech Conference which brings together thought leaders, entrepreneurs, and corporates in the Fintech and Digital Money ecosystem.

The one-day conference featured expert panels and discussions by digital new entrants, Tech and Payments companies and also “incumbent” banks who gave their thoughts on how technology is changing the financial services industry.

Essence Intelligence’s CEO, Alon Livshitz, joined a the last panel of the day which was titled RegTech: Rise of the Compliance Machines, sharing the stage with Sophia Bantanidis, Head of Regulatory Strategy & Policy TTS Innovation at Citi (Moderator), Edward Sander, President at Arachnys, Alex Viall, Head of Regulatory Intelligence at Behavox, and Jane Walshe, Co-Founder & CEO of Enforcd.

The panel focused on the efficiency and cost-saving effects of RegTech, technology review, problem-solving use cases with clients, the human role in an automated environment, the part of the regulator in supporting RegTech, and the future of RegTech.
