Essentia April ’20 Monthly Updates

Another month has passed and brought us even more developments to work on! During these last few weeks, we continued working on improving your experience using Blockexplorer and the wallet in general. Let’s check what new functionalities are now available for you to try out!

Masternode Info & Reward Calculation

As you may remember, in the last monthly blog post, we shared a list of updates that were added to the Blockexplorer, including the new layout, design, transaction info, and, of course, the masternode monitoring page.

This month we took it even further, expanding the functionality of this page. We added a Reward Calculator, which allows you to see the worth of the Mercury Masternode, how much it will earn you a day, a week, a month and a year.

Apart from that, we also added the Masternode stats, that will help you to see the whole picture of the Essentia MN. In that window, you will be able to find:

• What is the annual ROI?
• How much was already paid the Masternoder hosts in the network?
• How often does the reward is sent out?
• How many coins do you need to deploy a node?
• What is the masternode worth?

Price Pop up

Making your experience even easier, we also added the ESS price pop up, which allows you to check the ESS info without leaving the page or going directly to CoinMarketCap.

Session Termination

We always wonder, what else can we do to make sure our users are safe using our products? Along with the multiple security tiers, including the log in options, touch ID, encryption, we also decided to add the session termination.

Here’s how it works: if you leave your session unattended for 5 minutes, you will be automatically logged out. This way you may be sure, that if you get distracted and forget to close the app, no one can take advantage of this situation.

Guides

We always try to take into account the suggestions and feedback of our community. This month we edited and updated the guides to the Masternode Set up and Staking set up. We did our best to make them as easy to follow, as it can possibly be.

Also, to the documents, we added the FAQ sections at the end, in order to make sure we address all of the questions we receive from you guys.
