The last couple of weeks were a blast! Here, at Essentia labs we were mostly dedicated to delivering an efficient token swap service, as well as perfecting it to make sure it works as good as possible. Today, let’s take a look back and see what exactly we were doing during the last month. Let’s go!

Token Swap & Desktop

As you probably already know, last month we have released the token swap service. We worked hard to build it in the Essentia Desktop application, which ensured a higher level of security and efficiency. Since the release, a lot of Essentia users have exchanged their tokens for coins, reporting some bugs along the way. Where development happens, some bugs are inevitable, and we are extremely grateful to our community for being as active as they were: thanks to their detailed reports we managed to eliminate the bug that only 5% of all users faced.

Initially available only for Linux and macOS users, this month we also released the Windows version as well. If you still haven’t conducted the token swap but planning to, make sure to update the Essentia Desktop application. This needs to be done for higher security (as we are constantly adding new security features and fixing bugs).

Also, the newer version of the application contains a new feature — a refund. If you initiated the token swap, and the transaction fails for some reason, you can click on the ‘Refund’ button and get your ESS tokens back to your wallet. If that does happen, please make sure to report that to our team, this will help us make the application better. You can reach out to us in our official Telegram channel, or via support@essentia.one.

Also, if you have any additional questions about the token swap, take a look at the FAQ article published not so long ago! We hope it has all the answers.

Documentation

Do you know that we are constantly working on updating the official documentation, as well as add new documents? This month we have added the Token swap and masternode setup guides to the official Essentia website. The guides will instruct you through the token swap and masternode installation processes, step-by-step, in detail. If you are planning on pursuing these processes, we insist you check out the documents.

The section will be updated with new documents soon as well, so stay tuned!

Now & Future

Development

This month we are actively working on the blockexplorer improvements. We are dedicated to making it easier and more pleasant to use than it already is now. We have already made some design and UI/UX changes, and are already working towards some bigger changes and milestones. We advise you following our Telegram Announcement channel to be informed at all times about the most important news.

The other project we are now focused on is creating the Masternode Autodeploy service directly from the Essentia Wallet. We believe this will simplify the process greatly, allowing our users to waste less time and energy setting up a node.

Public

We are also actively working on our marketing strategy for the next couple of months. The most prominent steps you can find in our roadmap. We are also inclined to continue with smaller yet effective ways to promote such as PR publications and ads.

Another way to establish contacts and ensure growth is attending events. We are delighted to announce, that on February 20–21 we will be attending the Blockchain Economy conference in Turkey! We couldn’t be more excited to network, gain and share experience. If you happen to attend as well, make sure to say hi!

If you have any questions regarding this or any other topic, do not hesitate to ask them in Essentia’s Official Telegram channel.
