Masternode Auto-deploy is officially out! Overview & Guide
The day we’ve all been waiting for so long is finally here, we are delighted to state that the masternode auto-deploy is now available! From now on, you can easily deploy Essentia masternodes directly from the Desktop application: no coding required, just a few clicks!
On that note, we would like to thank our community for being extremely supportive — we appreciate your involvement and interest! We hope that you will share your thoughts on this development, send your feedback, and help us become better!
Why would you want to run the Essentia Masternode?

Without further ado, let’s get into the guide!
Guide
- First of all, you will need to download the Desktop application from the Essentia website: essentia.one.
Note: you will have to redownload the app, even if you already have one.
2. Log into your account. Make sure you have your tokens swapped to coins, if not, here’s the guide. You need to have 100.000 ESS coins in order to set up your masternodу, as well as a sum of extra coins to pay for the server.
3. Go to your wallet, you will see the Deploy a masternode button, click on it.
4. You will get this pop-up. Enter the name of your masternode, as well as the server subscription timeline. Click Setup a masternode.
5. While the masternode is setting up, you will see the ‘In progress’ status. When you hover on it, you will see what step you are on at the moment.
6. When the masternode is up, the status will change to ‘Active’. This takes approximately 15 minutes. As you can see on the screenshot below, you can find the information about the next server payment to make, how many rewards you have earned, and the status of the node.
7. If you click on the 3 dots to the right, you will be able to:
- Pay for the server
- Withdraw your rewards
- Stop the node
- Get the hash of the masternode
- Get the masternode address
Note: Keep in mind that if you do not pay for the server in time, your masternode will be stopped, and your rewards and the locked-in coins will be sent to your address.
