Lightstands

There’s only two types of lightstands you need. One for the studio, and another for the road.

When you’re in the studio, it’s nice to have something study, tall, and willing to just have it stay up at all times. For that, get yourself a Calumet 10' stand. They’re inexpensive and do the job well.

When on the road, definitely go for the 6' collapsible Bogen lightstands. They’re light, fold down nice and compact-like, and made of light metal.
