Here’s What Happened To The Guy Trying To “Legalize Rape”

The guy who runs “Return of Kings” has been worried sick about the “plight of real men” and wanted to do a “peaceful meet and greet” with other members of his tribe to discuss the LEGALIZATION OF RAPE. He isn’t crazy, of course, because he thinks rape should be legalized only if it is done on private property.

Roosh V. writes, “I won’t rationalize my actions, but having sex is what I do.” in his epic article The Accusation That I’m A Rapist Is A Malicious Lie. This, I hope, clears all suspicion about his intentions about women. He also says “I teach guys how to be sexually attractive.” and he doesn’t teach them how to rape. That somehow seems to make perfect sense.

Perfect Sense:

Calling Roosh V. a cockroach is an insult to cockroaches who are nature’s badass garbage cleaners. They will also survive a nuclear apocalpyse, which will hopefully, finally erase turd munchers like Roosh V. and his band of neo-masculinists (men who think feminists are ruining their lives) from the face of the earth.

But that rally he was planning to have to legalize rape was called off, because a few people he intended to rape threatened to beat him up. And they look like this:

He had to back off because it’s the Toronto Newgirls Boxing Club after all. I wonder if the irony of calling off your public meeting because you feel “threatened” is obvious to a man who claims to be so very self-aware of his charms and dick-wielding abilities? I’m not kidding, his website gives you a free download of the text message-by-text message guide to getting laid.

Somebody go ask him if he liked feeling how women feel every single day of their lives when they step out of their homes? Ask him if he still wants to convene with his band of rape-y misfits and have their asses kicked in public by badass boxer women every fucking time somebody asks where they goddamn pet shop is? (Funny how he chose “pet shop” as the code word to get directions to the meeting!)

This is the face of “real men” now- the man wants to reduce the instances of rape cases by legalizing them (on private property of course). If a girl is trusting enough to go with a man to a private property, then she must obviously be willing to have sex with him. There are no grey areas regarding this in his mind. Real men don’t take ‘No’ for an answer.

There is no clarity however, if it applies to women raping men? Does he believe men can be raped? It’s probably a tough one for him to answer, because (a) women should never be that empowered to be assertive or aggressive in anyway and (b) most importantly, all men should at all times enjoy all sex that they get, consent and willingness to engage are irrelevant.

Roosh’s views aren’t just harmful to women (although we are his main targets), but also to men. Men who don’t fit his criteria of what a real man should be- men who are not hyper-masculine, men who have evolved beyond just their basic needs to food, shelter and sex (obviously), men with feelings, men who are not dominant, aggressive or assertive, men who don’t want to subjugate women to feel worthy. Basically, any decent man who is one among your friends WILL be bullied by his propaganda.

Roosh wants to wage a war on the likes of us. Through his micro-aggressions, words that are meant to rile us up, and by recruiting others who think like him, who feel like giving women freedoms, education, jobs, and security has ruined their chances of every getting laid, to join his army. But his attacks won’t be limited to just words, they will escalate from words to actions; his micro-aggressions won’t remain so tiny anymore, and his band of mistreated men won’t be so small.

Or so he thinks.

If all it took for him to back down was the threat of being made to feel unsafe, then it is obvious that we already hold all the power over him. Because who knows better how to deal with that feeling every second of every day of your life than women? Keys in our hands like Wolverine’s, pepper spray, and the solidarity of our sisterhood. Every step he and his “kings” take, we’ll be watching. Blowing our rape whistles, perfecting our high kicks, upper cuts and screams. Shouting from the tops of our lungs, writing in ALL CAPS about our rights to our body and minds. Our right to change our minds about the guy we brought home who turned out to be a douchebag, we don’t want to sleep with anymore. Our right to get drunk and not have it considered an invitation to rape our bodies. Our right to reject the advances of any man we don’t like.

We don’t owe anybody any thing. We don’t owe men like Roosh (or anybody for that matter) time, courtesy or attention to their advances. We don’t owe them our lives to make them feel worth something.

What we do need is solidarity- from all women, from men who do not identify as hyper-masculine, or masculine at all, from the LGBTQ community. And we need to teach our boys and men to reject these false ideas about self-worth.

The stereotype that men need to make women ‘their bitches’ to feel like they are successful. The awful standards men are held up to and the toxicity it brings to their lives and people around them.

By providing security through education, jobs and unlimited freedoms, we will have won the battle against Roosh and his likes. When we will no longer feel threatened by our own humanity is when shitheads like him will cease to be relevant. When we will teach our boys that a woman’s decision is her own and not a dig at them, when they will no longer feel like a ‘No’ is an injustice to their egos, because the things we told them about how to be real men were all false. That is when we will no longer need to threaten Roosh and his kings, because they will no longer exist.
