Weed make you paranoid? You’re probably misinformed on the origin of your strain.

All cannabis should be labeled — “legal” or otherwise

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard the ole “Oh, I can’t smoke weed, it makes me paranoid” — In fact, I went through that faze myself. Having grown up in the prohibition era I never realized, or had access to the varieties of strains available today. When I started to educate myself, and others on the variances of cannabis I realized one MAJOR thing: Most of the weed going around in NYC for a while was Sour Diesel. A fantastic strain whose lineage is often disputed and should NOT be, as it was “engineered” by a young genius named Robert Peace (R.I.P.) in Newark, New Jersey. That being said, Sour was designed to be “gassy” and high in THC — It’s also a straight Sativa. If you are interested in Robert’s story you can read:

Before I go on, let me stress that cannabis is personal and what might make you hoppity boppity might chill me out or vice versa. I can say though, that I found Sour Diesel to produce many of the same elevated effects that were not good for people who: A) Were not seasoned smokers and B) Had issues with anxiety. What I found, was that the people I talked to were most likely smoking Sour Diesel, as the variety of strains now available in Legal states were severely limited. It was only when I started helping people access marijuana that I was able to let people know that, I had different strains and different strains usually produce different effects. People who shunned smoking before were now falling in love with cannabis. Why? Because they were able to get what worked for them. If only it were that simple. Lucky enough, times have changed and though I recently moved to Denver and have safe and informative access, the newly relaxed laws have enabled people to have better access in non legal states. Cannabis can help and heal and enable you to enjoy your life and your consumption experience. One day it will be “legal” across the board. Hopefully it will be sooner than later.
