He rarely considered her anymore.
Only when breathing.

She doesn’t consider him at all.

He remembers her kiss.
Always… the kiss.

She thinks nothing of the past.

It was easy.
It was awkward.

Sometimes fast.
Sometimes hard.
Sometimes noisy.
Sometimes silent.

Always open.
Always seen.
Always heard.
Always honest.

What one embraced, the other shunned.

Was it love?
Was it lust?
It was neither.
It existed somewhere in between.
If it existed at all.

She was never to be his fate.
But she would always be his choice.

It’s a beautiful dream, sadly, we all wake up in the end.
