Eternic joins R3’s Venture Development Program
We’re pleased to announce that we’ve joined the Venture Development Program, an accelerator-style program developed by R3, the enterprise blockchain firm, to support the next stage of our growth.
Our search for the right blockchain technology to support this project began in 2015. We saw the potential of blockchain technology for fintech early on, but none of the early iterations met our criteria. It has taken blockchain technology for financial services several years to mature to a level suitable for international banking. After rigorous evaluation and a number of POCs, we selected Corda for the distributed ledger technology at the core of our cross border payment and settlement platform.

R3 launched the Venture Development Program in June of 2020 to help distributed ledger technology start-ups find Product-Market Fit. The program serves as a gateway into the R3 ecosystem, connecting start-ups to enterprise customers, corporate partners, and a global network of mentors and investors. It’s a cost and equity-free program supported by an international team of industry experts, devoted to helping your company get to market faster.
Through the program, we can network with other blockchain founders and developers, access educational content, and a wide range of mentors, technical experts, potential partners, and investors. Additionally, we can compete in industry-specific challenges, and access high-quality incubator and accelerator partner programs to support our POC progress.
