Talk is not cheap, so the “2.5 The Talk Show” line up is Gucci.
With only just over a month to go we thought we would give you a teaser of what to expect on the 19th November 2020, at “2.5 The Talk Show” (you know, the spin off of ETHBerlinZwei and what WILL be our next event, Drei) and well, do we have an awesome lineup or what?! Of course we’ve managed to bribe some of the best from our industry to talk to us about all the latest news and pain points we are experiencing in 2020, and we are really excited to have them join our virtual conference and be part of our hackathon spin-off.
Without further ado, this post is gonna introduce some of the many awesome speakers we will be hosting.
First we would like to introduce the badass duo Allie Eve Knox and Leigh Cuen talking all about freelancing and being a creator in our space. We are super excited to welcome Allie back, those of you who remember the very first ETHBerlin, will remember her on the panel about sex workers and crypto. It is also a huge pleasure to (FINALLEIGH) welcome Leigh Cuen, who recently left Coindesk to go freelance (by the way we have been harassing her for years inviting her to come to our events).
Now, let’s talk about DeFi. Yes we know it was the biggest thing in crypto this year and we are going to have to talk about it, but then we aren’t going to do it without one of the OGs and major DeFi projects in the space, Stani Kulechov from Aave who we consider to be one of the projects that have been killing it in the DeFi world.
Other awesome speakers we are excited to welcome to “2.5 The Talk Show” are Tara Tan from IDEO (who, we were told, happens to be an AMAZING show woman on top of her many talents), Abbey Titcomb of Radicle who will talk about Open Source sustainability and more, and we’re excited to share as well, that TM Lee will be representing the guys over at Coingecko. The latter will be part of a segment on the Asian ecosystem led by KryptoSeoul!
We will also feature some ETHBerlin & ETHBerlinZwei alumni to catch us up on what they have been up to since we last heard from them. Obviously we will be featuring our baby Goerli, with an update from the DoD’s Afri Schoedon, and we are super excited to also have Matt and AJ from Softspot, the exhibition platform formerly known as DOT gallery, who most recently hosted the Ars Electronica .ART Curated Pavilions and Global Gallery , so you can hear all about their new found fame.
Speaking of all things art, it wouldn’t be a DoD event without it, so we are truly honoured to welcome Peter Holsgrove to the event, the founder of Zien, who will be discussing new ways of selling and producing art.
We may also have convinced Josh Cincinnati (former ZCash foundation, current flaneur — or whatever, we really don’t know what he’s up to these days, and doubt even he knows;) ) to sell his soul to us on the day (thanks Josh you don’t know what you got yourself into).
That is about all I can reveal for now because we like to keep you all on your toes and keep some element of mystery.
