What Is 1Inch Exchange?

“1Inch is an index aggregator, leading dex aggregator invented in 2019 on Ethereum, at the hackathon ETH New York. It was built by me and my co-founder just over two nights. We combined small liquidity pools in a single one by using algorithms and improved over the time or service. Nowadays, we are the leading aggregator with a great product. We are more than an aggregator though; we also have a liquidity protocol, which is fully flexible in terms of settings and we also delivered the DAO which can set the settings by voting. And yes, each vote matters. So we don’t have any entry barriers. So everyone can just participate by voting for this parameter; a pool can set up in a specific manner. For example, we can charge fixed fees, we can charge flexible fees and be able to decide how much the governance rewards should be from these fees. Yeah, we are growing in the direction of, like, a fully DeFi platform. I would say we develop on protocols and plan this year, like many many products coming this year.”

What Else Should BUIDLers Know?

“If you have a great idea, just try to implement what you can implement over two nights and one day and to participate in such hackathons like we had last year at ETHDenver. I participated as well last year in February with some other guys. Just keep building, concentrate on the building, roll out as soon as possible, and show as soon as possible is what I’ve learned from hackathons. I’ve participated in like 17 hackathons, maybe more. It’s very important to get feedback as soon as possible!”
