ETHDenver Adds Exploration Track for Beginners with Cryptochicks & Blockchain Education Network
New to the crypto space? Have an idea for a blockchain business that just isn’t quite ready for hacking yet? Attend ETHDenver’s Exploration Track!
Today, ETHDenver is proud to announce that it will be adding a fourth track to the 2020 BUIDLathon & Community Gathering in partnership with CryptoChicks and Blockchain Education Network. Built for beginners, n00bs, the crypto-curious or those who have an idea that just isn’t quite ready for official BUIDLathon project submission, the Exploration Track will have an education focus to allow attendees to:
- Attend curated workshops and talks to learn more about blockchain/crypto basics
- Take introductory coding workshops
- Meet with industry mentors to discuss business ideas
- Form teams and create rapid prototypes
- Draft business plans with teammates or mentors
- Assess project plans one-on-one and in small group settings
- BUIDL without the pressure of submitting a project
- Learn from CryptoChicks’ “How To Turn Your Hackathon Project Into A Business” course session
Says Elena Sinelnikova from Cryptochicks about the Exploration Track, “By opening this new track, we want to bring more entrepreneurs with great business ideas for Ethereum and make our community even more diverse.”
Adds ETHDenver Executive Steward John Paller, “For people who are not quite ready to do a full project submission but would benefit from business plan mentorship or learning more about industry basics, the Exploration Track is a perfect fit. We realize not everyone comes to ETHDenver ready to stick their neck out with an idea for immediate hacking, and this will allow attendees to start or continue their BUIDLing journey with strong mentorship and support.”
ETHDenver is excited to be able to offer the Exploration Track for 2020, along with the Open and Impact tracks. The final wave of applications ends 01/15, though ETHDenver will accept applications following 01/15 on an availability basis. Apply and stake today on ethdenver.com.
