If you want to host or attend a #BUIDL Week Colorado 2019 event, here’s what you need to know.

Blockchain Meetups, Workshops & Connections
Join us for a week of blockchain events open to the public, February 11–14 leading into the ETHDenver 2019 weekend. #BUIDL Week Colorado will feature community-driven demonstrations, speakers, panels, and workshops throughout the state designed to empower and educate Colorado’s growing and thriving blockchain community. These events are a great way to learn new skills and prepare for the ETHDenver #BUIDLATHON, where “buidling” (formerly known as hacking) takes place, starting on Friday, February 15th.

Keystone Events:
ETHDenver and local blockchain event organizers have partnered to create a series of keystone events along the Front Range. These events will feature luminaries, special guests, networking opportunities, and team building icebreakers to help you find a team/add team members, engage with the community and/or learn about decentralized technology. We are proud to be hosting one of these events, the Trust Machine screening and fireside chat with Joseph Lubin on Wednesday, February 13th with Block Party. This will allow all ticketing for the film to be done with the blockchain, which is yet another way ETHDenver 2019 is making blockchain use cases available to attendees. Please see our full keystone event schedule on our website.

Community Events:
#BUIDL Week community events will be held Monday through Thursday throughout the day, 9am-6pm
. Event planning is OPEN SOURCE and can be done by any person, group or project. Whether you’re local or coming from across the globe, everyone is invited to host events designed to prepare attendees for ETHDenver or to further the blockchain discussion worldwide. Complimentary event space may be available through our sponsor, Enterprise Co-Working on a first come, first serve basis. You can request this by emailing buidlweek@ethdenver.com. To host a community event, submit here. (Please note that if you submit an event that directly conflicts with keystone BUIDL Week events, this may result in your event being delisted from our site. See the full keystone event schedule here.)

Who else is excited to submit an event for #BUIDL Week Colorado?

Teambuilding Icebreakers / Speed Dating:
These events are designed to give #buidlers, community members, and the “crypto curious” as many chances as possible to form teams and gain exposure to the community in the lead up to ETHDenver. Each keystone event will include a 30-minute icebreaker session. Additional icebreakers will be held: (1) Thursday onsite at the Sports Castle and (2) Friday Evening at 8pm, directly following the opening ceremony. We also recommend finding a team via ETHDenver’s official Status channel.

Co-Working Event Schedule:
BUIDL Week participants are invited to enjoy complimentary co-working space access throughout the week. Get a bit of work done between sessions in a space where you can also meet other blockchain industry professionals:

  • Mon-Wed, 9am-5pm: Enterprise Co-Working 3000 Lawrence St, Denver, CO 80205
  • Thu, 9am-9pm: Sports Castle 1000 N. Broadway, Denver, CO 80203

Co-Working Events:

We are excited to see all of the ways individuals collaborate for BUIDL Week Colorado this year. Check out the BUIDL Week schedule and learn more at www.ethdenver.com/buidlweek. If you have other questions, reach out to our team today at buidlweek@ethdenver.com.
