Deadline to apply: January 14, 2020
Artists will be notified by January 21, 2020

ETHDenver 2020’s art gallery theme is Buidling the Future of Art + Technology. The 2020 Art Gallery will feature the collection of selected art pieces. Submissions should include new art that hasn’t been printed, tokenized, or used for any other purposes; unreleased and never-shown works are preferred. Pieces that explore themes within blockchain technology, and what the future looks like in that space are highly encouraged. ETHDenver is not keeping a commission from the works sold, so if you would like to donate a portion of the proceeds to a non-profit, please let us know in your submission application.

Submission Categories

Artists can participate in three categories for the ETHDenver gallery:

1. Digital Art to be Printed
We have a small budget to cover the printing and framing costs of 35 curated digital pieces which will have both a tokenized version and a tangible print version that patrons can take home upon purchase. The prints will be 2 ft x 3 ft. If the piece isn’t purchased, we will contact you after the event to see if you would like to arrange having it shipped to you. You’ll need to cover the cost of shipping it to you.

2. Digital Art
Additionally, we are curating 35 digital works that will be displayed on framed tablets. Patrons won’t keep the tablet or frame, but will bid on and purchase the digital asset.

3. Tangible/2D Art/3D Art
Tangible/2D/3D works such as paintings, sculpture, collage, photography, etc. that fit within the theme and can be tokenized will also be curated. Anything that involves technology, AR, VR, holograms, programming, or explores these themes within the work could be a great fit for this category. ETHDenver will handle up to $100 in shipping costs for art in this category.
