In this blog, we will introduce new game rules of Etheremon transformation and egg laying. Together with battling and trading, they build up the ecosystem of our Etheremon World.
Egg laying
- Etheremons can lay egg at a certain level (except for Gasons and Legends — in general they cannot lay eggs). Legends with bonus eggs can still lay the bonus eggs but no more afterward.
- The egg-laying level for each kind of Etheremon is different, e.g. a Cobrus can lay egg at level 30 while a Pudde can lay egg at level 28.
- After laying egg, the level of an Etheremon will be reduced by a certain amount. For example, a Cobrus at level 30 after laying egg will have its level reduced to 27.
- An egg needs to be hatched to become an Etheremon. One trainer can hatch one egg at a time. The time to hatch an egg is randomized, from a few hours to a few days.
Transformation
- Some Etheremons can transform at a certain level.
- After transforming, an Etheremon’s level will be reset to 1 and all of its stats (HP, PA, PD, SA, SD, SP) are greatly increased comparing to a level-1 untransformed counterpart.
- To transform an Etheremon, trainers need to collect all of its ancestors.
- After transforming, an Etheremon can lay egg of its current transformed form after reaching a certain required level. This required level will be higher than that of its previous form. For example, after transforming a Cobrus to Dracobra, you will need to train that Dracobra from level 1 to level 50. At that level, Dracobra can lay egg and its egg will hatch into a new Dracobra.
Important Note:
- Except Gason and three free starters, other Etheremons will only be catchable for a limited time period. After that, monseekers can only buy those Etheremons from trading in the marketplace. The number of those Etheremons can only be increased by Etheremons laying eggs.
- Only the first form of Etheremon are catchable, other forms can only be transformed from the previous form or acquired from marketplace.
- Please keep in mind that there is a chance for first-form Etheremons to go extinct if monseekers decide to transform all of them to their next form.
- All information about the forms and egg-laying levels will be updated on our website at https://www.etheremon.com
