The London upgrade commemorating
NFT Distribution
The London upgrade is deployed on the Ethereum mainnet about a month ago; which introduces changes including fees market structure, gas refund, and pre-support to EVM future changes along with pushing the difficulty bomb to Dec 2021.
London upgrade NFT
Soon after the deployment of the upgrade on the mainnet, the Ethereum Cat Herders announced to commemorate Ethereum’s London upgrade with the distribution of up to 100 NFTs to EIP authors, EIP editors, clients, tooling team, and many others who contributed to bringing the London upgrade.
The London upgrade NFT contract deployed on Rarible by William Xuan, is designed by Tian Yuan Zhao for the Ethereum Cat Herders.
We‘re happy to announce that after spending a couple of weeks collecting wallet addresses from client teams, EIP authors, editors and multiple working groups, we’ve distributed 62/100 NFTs. Shoutout to William Schwab & William Xuan for making all the transactions to deliver the NFTs to the end recipients.

Ethereum London Upgrade Community Call
About a month ago, to familiarize the community with the expected changes, we organized a community call inviting the development team and the Ethereum community. In the hour-long call, EIP authors summarized the proposals, infrastructure providers explained the UX/UI changes and we had some conversations around process improvement. The Ethereum London Upgrade Community Call recording is worth watching if you missed the meeting or part of the call. It also included POAP (designed by William Xuan) for people watching the stream.
