Bloq Launches Managed API Service for Ethereum and Ethereum Classic
Ethereum Classic Labs is dedicated to the advancement of the Ethereum Classic ecosystem and is always trying to bring new advancements and services to support the blockchain community as a whole. Last fall, we partnered with Bloq, a leader in blockchain infrastructure services, to fulfill this mission. We’re super excited to announce that the Bloq Connect managed API service has added support for Ethereum and Ethereum Classic. This enables developers to connect and integrate their applications with the Ethereum Classic and Ethereum blockchains easily.

There are plenty of participants in the Ethereum Classic community that depend on connecting to the Ethereum Classic blockchain — from apps, exchanges, wallets, and especially developers. With a managed API service, a developer can worry more about their application and less about maintaining the infrastructure to keep their blockchain service running (not to mention the task of maintaining the service securely.) Ethereum Classic Labs, along with the ETC Core team, worked together with Bloq to optimize this service to meet the needs of our community.
The Bloq Connect service delivers enterprise-grade performance, reliability, and support with its fault-tolerant cluster of nodes and novel caching scheme. Without needing to manage infrastructure, developers can quickly begin working with the Ethereum and Ethereum Classic testnets and mainnets using familiar interfaces.
The Bloq Connect Ethereum Classic service supports OpenRPC, allowing service discovery, interactive API documentation, and all the side-kick tooling provided by the OpenRPC project to enhance the developer experience.
