Creating truly decentralized P2P blockchain applications can be a daunting task for a number of reasons. First developers are learning the development environment for the protocol they are developing on, but also understanding how to make it easy for end-users to configure their dapps to run in a decentralized manner.

Ethereum Classic Labs is introducing a series of videos and instructional material from our Core development team called Ethereum Classic Labs Devs4Devs. Each of our developers will go through details on how to create Ethereum Classic applications and make it easier and faster for developers to configure and deploy them. Our first segment in our Devs4Devs series is focused on our Jade Suite of Tools.

The Ethereum Classic Labs Core team is building the Jade Suite of tools that provide developers with an easier way of creating truly decentralized P2P applications. The Jade Suite provides developers with a structured approach using tools like Jade Service Runner, Signer, Wallet, Multi-Geth, and JSON-RPC. Many tools allow you to create applications, but not all provide a decentralized solution for end-users.

Zane Starr, lead developer for Ethereum Classic Labs Core, hosted an hour-long instructional workshop going into the details of the Jade Suite of tools that include Open-RPC and Service Runner, and how using these tools and services can benefit developers creating dapps on Ethereum Classic. Below is a quick introduction that showcases why we have developed the Jade Suite of tools for developers and the top three things that can benefit the developers creating truly decentralized dapps on Ethereum Classic.

Jade Suite can be complex, but we provide an overview of the Jade Service Runner, a critical component of the Jade Suite, introduce the Jade online workshop, and lead you to the online detailed instructional video.
