Like many of you, we had planned to be in New York for New York Blockchain Week. With COVID-19, plans have changed and while we can’t be there in person, we’re excited to sponsor Gitcoin’s virtual hackathon in partnership with Consensus 2020 and Ethereal Summit May 6th — May 20th, 2020!

The goal of this hackathon is to come together as a global community, to help build the future of Web3, and support social issues that impact us all. Special for this hackathon, we’re unveiling another round of bounties below amounting up to $3,500 in rewards.

  • Containerized Client and Network Metrics Dashboard for Core-Geth $500–1000: Build a containerized client and network analysis dashboard service using metrics from etclabscore/core-geth, which can be deployed to a reputable cloud provider of your choice (eg DigitalOcean, AWS). View bounty here.
  • Best GSN Project on Ethereum Classic $500–1000: Create a project that utilizes GSN on Ethereum Classic. This is an open-ended bounty that can be fun and creative but most importantly, promotes GSN use on Ethereum Classic. View bounty here.
  • Use Signatory in your existing project $500: Signatory is a powerful module with a simple JSON-RPC API that can enable applications to transact and sign with any EVM-based network. We want to see how you can integrate this tool into your existing project. View bounty here.
  • Use OpenRPC in your existing project $500: JSON-RPC is a light-weight remote procedure call (RPC) protocol. Many services are interfaced with JSON-RPC, including the most popular blockchains. If your project utilizes JSON-RPC, then building your API with the OpenRPC specification will provide you a high-quality API accompanied by all the side-kick tooling provided by the OpenRPC project. View bounty here.
  • Build a tool using OpenRPC $500: The OpenRPC Project contains side-kick tools to enable developers to build standardized JSON-RPC APIs and service descriptions. This is an open-ended challenge to contribute one of your own. View bounty here.
