This Week in the Labs: April 1st

The Crypto Universe hit a significant milestone this week! The United States Securities and Exchange Commission has decided to approve two applications for Bitcoin-based exchange-traded funds (ETFs.)This is a massive win for crypto companies.

Weekly Rewind

Our week kicked off with Elizabeth Traver Kukka speaking at Crypto-Monday. Elizabeth discussed the criteria she uses when she selects startups to join the ETC Labs program.

Christian Seberino led Tuesday workshop. Christian ran through a 101 course of Ethereum Classic for the startups. He focused on Multisig Smart Contracts, ran us through mining and root hashes.

Our Wednesday dinner series brought Shou Yang from Fifty Years VC. Shou talked about his stories of building his startup and shared experiences in the VC world.

On Thursday we hosted a Pitch scrub. Yarra Weidber, Renee Barnstone, Erik Mayo, and Michael Ward joined us to help critique the startup’s pitch and their pitch deck.



Also, our video series continued this week with Elizabeth Kukka, Operations and Program Director at ETC Labs.



Crypto Lark interviewed Stevan Lohja, from ETC Labs Core. They discussed 51% attacks, IOT, Ethereum, the challenges in attracting devs and much more!
