This will enable our passionate community meetup organisers and members to play a role in the Ethereum mission. Which will lead to developing the technology, tools and community necessary to shift the way the world works via decentralised technology, open source and open finance economies.

Why do we want to support Ethereum Meetup Organisers?
Meetups are one of the key components in having usable tech. They’re also one of the major elements in community building. If we want the Ethereum ecosystem to be flourishing, we need to have community in the ecosystem. Community is the base element of Ethereum. It’s the universe full of users, developers, researchers, traders, shillers, innovators, dreamers, unicorns and sparkles ✨
Building the tech part of Ethereum is necessary, but without community it is useless. The community connects people and adds real value to the system itself. In Ethereum cyberspace, meetups are about knowledge exchange, networking and making new like-minded friends. Meetup organisers are the connectors for these people and are creating opportunities.

What’s required of an Ethereum Meetup Organiser?
As mentioned above, Ethereum is about the community and so we are super fortunate to have such a talented, passionate and growing community across the globe. Ethereum Meetup Organisers are sharing the passion of Ethereum as technology and maximizing its potential within their respective communities.
Duties will include both virtual and real-world components such as:
- Host in-person or virtual community meetup events
- Be active within the community of meetup organisers
- Create content to keep your community engaged
You will join the Meetup Organisers community on bi-weekly check-up calls and keep us updated about your progress via group chat. We expect Ethereum Meetup Organisers to be active and motivated.
How can I join the Ethereum Meetup Support Program?
Fill out the Ethereum Meetup Support Program Application form. Afterwards you will receive an email with instructions and we will add you to our Discord channel.
