SafeStake on Holesky and Operator Node Upgrade Announcement
Dear SafeStake Community, Node Operators and Validators,
We’re thrilled to announce the final upgrade to the SafeStake on Holesky public testnet scheduled for this coming Friday, June 7th, 2024. This upgrade requires the re-deployment of smart contracts, meaning all Node Operators and Validators will need to re-register post-upgrade.
Exciting new features in this upgrade include:
- Enhanced settings to support both 4 and 7 member operator committee configurations.
- Introduction of Validator voluntary exit.
- Ability to search for Node Operators by name during Validator registration.
- Deployment of a new web app UI.
- Bug fixes to enhance stability.
IMPORTANT NOTE TO OPERATORS:
Node Version Update

Approaching Mainnet Launch
Following the launch of the new Holesky testnet, the team will monitor performance data over the next 30 days. Node Operators who maintain a 90%+ performance rate will be whitelisted and invited to participate in the private mainnet stage that will follow and last for 60 days. At the end of a successful 60-day private mainnet period, the SafeStake permissionless network will become open to all operators who wish to join.
