March was an exciting month for testnet! We are pleased to announce that SafeStake has fully transitioned from Galileo (goerli) to SafeStake on Holesky, so all efforts can be focused on pressure testing the permissionless network in anticipation of the private mainnet launch.
SafeStake v3.0-testnet is Live!
On March 20th, we announced the launch of SafeStake Testnet v3.0, marking a significant milestone in our journey towards mainnet. This version brought a host of enhancements designed to improve user experience and performance.
What’s New in v3.0:
- Updated MEV timestamp configuration. Now Operators can enable MEV for testing.
- Adapted to SafeStake contract v3.
- Added the function of status reporting to the backend.
- Increased the frequency of smart contract event query.
- Fixed the bug of occasional failure to decrypt key share.
But wait, there’s more!
The latest update, v3.1-testnet, is now available, bringing the following additional improvements:
- Fixed the Issue of Querying Future Blocks
- Resolved Timeout Issue

With the exception of CoinGecko (we are currently working with them to get it updated there), it now appears on all SafeStake general branding, websites, and social media platforms. $STATE to $DVT Conversion Update
A dedicated channel for users with questions about converting STATE tokens to $DVT has been set up on Discord. If you still hold $STATE in your wallet or the staking contract, please head on over to the #state-dvt-conversion channel to ask questions and get updates about unstaking and the swap contract that will be developed after mainnet launch.
