Meet Swarm at EthCC 3!

The third edition of the EthCC is knocking on the door and we are proud to announce not only that we’ll be there but also that we’ll be giving two very interesting talks with milestone announcements. A lot has happened in the past few months and we are happy to share with you the progress we made.

3–5 March 2020, Maison de la Mutualité, Paris, FRA

This is the 3rd year that Asseth (Ethereum Association) has organized this wonderful event that will present more than 250 international speakers from all corners of the Ethereum globe. Due to renovations, the event is taking place in a new venue, the Maison de la Mutualité. For us, EthCC is an opportunity to make new friends, get inspired and “upload the latest intel” about happenings in the Ethereum sphere. The FOMO is real.

Announcing Swarm MVP, file persistence, file pinning, single-sign-on, and more …

The Swarm MVP is here, featuring local file pinning which enables DApp developers to start building DApps on Swarm. The MVP is packed with some other really cool features, too. Gregor Žavcer’s talk at EthCC is centered around explaining what this really means. He will talk about the advances Swarm has made since last year and take you through the features that developers can now start using to build their dapps on Swarm. He will also outline future plans and roadmap items.

Swarm’s Daniel A. Nagy will present an Ethereum/Swarm-based single-sign-on solution for Web3 and Web2 applications that can be easily integrated into existing or new applications and can leverage the security of Ethereum accounts protected by hardware keys, if required.

In the following weeks, we will publish more Swarm MVP-related content and address the file pinning solution in more detail. If you are interested in building on Swarm, follow our Twitter account or sign up for our newsletter here.

We hope to see you at the conference. You are welcome to schedule a meeting with us, please feel free to reach out on our community channel. We will be more than happy to meet you and answer your Swarm-related questions, and to forge new friendships or maybe even partnerships.
