Ethereum ProgPoW Version 1.8.23 Released

As an effort of ProgPoW movement, the Ethereum ProgPoW node team released version 1.8.23 of the Ethereum ProgPoW node and 2.4.3 of Parity ProgPoW node. We believe in true, decentralized, asic resistance mining without no possibility of interference, fraud, or fund theft caused by centralized ASIC mining.

Unlike other node implementations we have focused on extended security issues and stability, with more than 3 months spent for the public test under the condition of progpow testnet, now we confirm that Ethereum ProgPoW is now ready for public release.

Ethereum ProgPoW is a first ethereum node implementation to fulfill the vision of decentralization and distribution, we believe it will lead us to the road of mining revolution with the support of ProgPoW, more than 60% of mining pools now signal for ProgPoW, and we are now ready to fulfill their demand.

Additionally, we have exclusively considered for miner’s long term profit, by not supporting the proposed EIP-1234 change which is considered to harm the ecosystem by lowering the paid inflation for network security, Ethereum ProgPoW plays a role as a guardian of the network security.
