Zerion is working with insurance space disruptor Inmediate to create a blockchain-based ecosystem for insurance products and claim settlements.

Inmediate is using Zerion’s tokenization technology for their crowdsale. Zerion facilitates their whitelisting procedures, the processing of funds and the final token distribution to investors. Our smart contracts enable Inmediate’s ERC20 token, called DIT. With our technology, they bring blockchain innovation to the insurance market.

The company is conducting a limited crowdsale with whitelisted participants only, with Zerion providing the automated know-your-customer (KYC) process to ensure all investors are from countries allowed to participate, which excludes the United States and China due to legal reasons.

If you are anywhere else, you can sign up for the whitelist here!

Insurance for a decentralized age

Inmediate tackles three issues in the modern insurance market: a large uninsured population, uninsurable aspects of life, and the frustrations that come with complicated claim settlements.

The project’s network aims to serve as the ecosystem for insurers to move onto blockchain services and take advantage of the technology to reduce the time and cost customers need to invest to interact with their insurer.

On the Inmediate platform, insurers will be able to offer micro-policies that apply to any area of life. Inmediate will serve as the underlying marketplace for insurers and customers to meet and make insurance contracts, with distributors making this interaction easier. For claim settlements, the smart contracts on the platform will automatically execute claims if pre-set conditions are met, increasing the transparency of policies.

The platform will have its own token for the community of insurers and consumers, called DIT, which will facilitate insurance payments, claim settlements and rewards programs.

The full process will run as shown below. For more details, see https://inmediate.io.

The smart contracts and tokens will eventually run on the Zilliqa blockchain, which is designed to make transactions 200 times faster than market leaders Bitcoin or Ethereum.

Zerion is excited to work with a team of experts in technology and insurance and further our mission to tokenize the financial markets.
