💨 We are excited & happy to share some important updates with you this week. As you all know, the carbon offsetting industry has been under scrutiny lately, with many companies being called out for their lack of genuine carbon reduction efforts. At Etherisc, we take this issue very seriously and have been working on a new project that will address this problem head-on. We are proud to announce that we have partnered with Chainlink, Coorest and Floodlight to develop a new carbon offsetting project. This project will use the latest technology and data from Chainlink’s oracle network to measure and verify carbon reduction efforts accurately. Link to our blog post.

🚀 De-Peg Protection: The crypto market is highly volatile, and one of the biggest concerns for crypto holders is the potential for de-pegging. To address this issue, we at Etherisc have been working on a de-peg protection product that allows users to protect their assets from market fluctuations. We are excited to announce that this product is nearing completion and will be launched very soon. This innovative product utilizes smart contracts to automatically trigger when a specified threshold is reached, ensuring that your assets are protected in times of market instability. We value the community’s help in further testing the prototypes. We would love to hear your feedback and suggestions as we continue to improve the product. Please keep on testing and reporting. 🔒 Public Staking: In tandem with the launch of our de-peg protection product, we will also be introducing public staking in the belonging Risk Pool. With our public staking feature, users will be able to stake their DIP tokens and other stablecoins in our risk pools, earning yields while helping to provide liquidity and collateral for various protections and insurance models on the GIF. We are still in the testing phase for this feature and would appreciate the community’s help in testing the staking prototype before we go live with it. The prototype is about to be released in the next few days. Thank you for your patience.

🪅 The start of 2023 has been quite dynamic for our team, with a lot of developments and progress taking place. Our Impact team has been taking advantage of the opportunities to introduce Etherisc’s vision to a wide range of individuals and organizations at various events and gatherings. We are proud to see our efforts gaining momentum and overcoming the challenges of the bear market. A big thank you to our supportive community!
