🚀 Welcome back to the Etherisc Weekly Community Update. This week, our focus was on the “Etherisc Governance Model”. Christoph has been in Milan at the AON office and we are preparing the full audit of the framework as we are getting more and more volume.

🛠 Etherisc Governance Model (EGM)

We have been working on a statutory document for the Etherisc Governance Model which will be published later this week in a first draft for community feedback.

There is a very interesting thread in our discord #🧮・revenue-model channel which is dedicated to the relationship between governance model and revenue model. Don’t miss this out, and if you’re not already member of the Discord, this is the perfect moment to join!

🇮🇹 Visit at the AON office in Milan

Christoph has been invited by Enrico Vanin, Chief Innovation Officer of AON, and Orio Navarra, Digital IT Director Aon Italia, to discuss potential next collaboration steps between AON and Etherisc. We had a very good discussion and we are happy to see that big TradFi companies are strongly catching up with DeFi and Web3 and we are looking forward to creating new products on the GIF Framework together!

🩺 Preparation for full code audit

With the implementation of staking, we are getting closer to the finalization of the core smart contracts, most of which have been stable for quite some time now. We therefore decided that it is the right time to commission a full audit of the GIF Framework smart contracts. While many projects struggle to find auditors, we were happy to see that we actually have to choose between some high-ranking companies! Next week will be dedicated to the preparation of the audit which will most likely take place in July.
