Congratulations to all Trainers who have been grinding and earning EMON from 2D battle victories! This past week alone more then $4,500 USD worth of rewards are to be distributed. We’re making new changes to bring in more player participation and to ensure the ladder remains fair and balanced.
For the 2D PVP Battle Ladder #5 we have new Mon type additions this week. Starting August 31st Water Type Mons are officially able to participate in the guaranteed EMON rewards per win ladder. Also, the leveling cap will remain at level 40!
We’ve also made some balancing changes for EMON per win ladder reward (currently only on ladder 5) to reduce multi-account exploitation. One main change is that defending account of a battle (when getting attacked) will no longer be credited with wins count or points for winning. The reason for this change is to prevent people attacking them selves and intentionally losing to bump up their earnings. This change will have no impact on the activity perform by the active player, specifically attacker win/lose counts and points will work as norma.
With these changes made to rebalance any multi account exploits and the introduction of new Mon Types into the ladder 5 equation, we expect to see the play-to-earn ecosystem continue to thrive.
Note: There were some delays in getting the auto distributed EMON to ladder 5 participants of the previous weeks. Those delays have since been resolved and all EMON should be paid out in full to all Trainers.
