Ethermon Announces New Battle Ladder #5 Coming Soon!
Great news Trainers, we are thrilled to announce some major changes are coming to the Ethermon 2D Battle Ladder ecosystem enhancing the play-to-earn opportunity for all!
Over the last month we’ve seen an incredible rise of new community members as we’re now over 130k total players! This has been a mind blowing experience and has caused us to make many changes to improve the experience across the board. Upgrading servers, releasing new generation of Mon for new players, and now our efforts are shifting toward expanding the play-to-earn ecosystem further.
EMON Reward Upgrades to All Ladders 🔥
To account for the influx of players battling it out every week for EMON rewards, we’ve decided to increase # of eligible ladder winner recipients from 5 to 50 per ladder! This is going to allow more EMON earning opportunities across the board for all levels of Trainer in the ecosystem.
To maintain the culture of competition, we will concentrate the bulk of rewards to those who place higher at the end of the weekly tournament closing. Below will be the structure of rewards for the top 50 players in every ladder.

Rank 1–5 Rewards remain consistent as before
Rank 6–10: 50 EMON each
Rank 11–25: 20 EMON each
Rank 26–50: 10 EMON each
New Battle Ladder #5 Coming Soon 🛡️
On top of expanding the existing ladder rewards we are in the process of booting up the biggest Ethermon ladder ever created. We’ve discussed in the recent Genesis Reborn (GR) announcements how the release of reborn Mons will heavily influence the need to launch new ladders. In this upcoming ladder #5 there will be specific Mon Type requirements to participate and these requirements will change on a regular basis to allow for mix of strategies for all kinds of collectors.
For first phase, attackers on any team must be Fire Type, while there are no supporter limitations. Mon level will need to be lower than level 20 initially (with considerations to allow new players to complete in this ladder); however, overtime this level restriction will increase and also more Mon Types will be introduced into the ladder.
EDIT: level 20 requirement changed to level 30 and below
Please note, Genesis Reborn (GR) Mons cannot be formed in the same teams as original ETH Mons (Aka class 1002 Dyanmouse (GR) and class 2 Dynamouse can not both be played at the same time), this restrictions is applied across all ladders. Although both can be used as ancestors interchangably in battles, but are not interchangeable for transform requirements (aka none GR mons need none GR ancestors to transform still)

Are you ready for this next bit of info? Ladder 5 will incorporate a GUARANTEED EMON rewards! We will announce how much EMON per win in a future announcement.
This is incredibly big news as it will lay the foundation to a new era of play-to-earn opportunity in the Ethermon ecosystem which will soon expand to the 3D metaverse. There will be no limitations to how much you can earn as a player in ladder 5, it is entirely up to the Trainer to maintain the proper variety in their Mon collections to be able to participate in this new dynamic ladder.
