Attention to all Ethermon Trainers! We’re making some minor adjustments to the EMON prize pools for the 2D Battle Ladder system. We’ve seen increased participation across the board with the recent revamp of the ladders described here, now we want to finely tune the system to ensure we maintain a competitive culture within the community to drive more toward higher level progression.
To add to this, we also want to increase the rewards for achieving #1 status as it should be celebrated for accomplishing this feat.
Starting immediately after the closing of this currently ongoing tournament period that ends on July 5th, we will initiate a new EMON reward distribution to top players within the different ladders. Below is an overview of those changes.
Ladder 1 Reward Lower to 150 per top 5, #1 winner 2x reward
- Reduced low Level Rewards and Shuffle to higher rewards for High level mons as bulk of current players moving towards higher ladder.
Ladder 2 Reward Increase to 250 per top 5, #1 winner 2x reward
- Increase rewards for more competitive play (most challenging ladder currently) may increase rewards further in this class as we monitor winner consistency
Ladder 3 Reward Increase to 250 per top 5, #1 winner 3x reward
- Highest reward class will continue to have top rewards, especially for the #1
Ladder 4 Reward (no change 200 per top 5, #1 winner 2x reward
- Rewards will remaining consistent for next few weeks, a more consistent top winners are seen here due to the high level required. Congrats to those whom made it to the top echelon in this class. Additional variety (types) may be added in future weeks to create additional competitions in this ladder.
Once a good balance is established within the 4 currently existing ladders we will begin to roll out new ladders that will be specifically target toward new player Mons. This will likely happen within the next few weeks. As players continue to progress through the ladders additional changes could be made to further reward the upper brackets.
