Hello commanders!

We at EtherSpace are working hard to craft the best experience on a blockchain game. Our goal is to create a game that is fun to play and at the same time financially rewarding for the players.

We are very excited to bring you this plan and hope you are on-board for the journey!

January 2018

Launch of the game prototype.

Players can buy spaceships with a mechanism built into the smart contract which rewards them, encouraging the acquisition of spaceships at early stages as prices increase with each sale.

UI Redesign.

We found that the game UI didn’t match the atmosphere we wanted to create. Our creative team worked hard to replace the layout with a dark theme and bring you new spaceship models, replacing the boring lifeless 2D spaceships with high-quality vivid 3D models.

Smart contract kept untouched.

The first version of our smart contract is up and running rewarding players with each spaceship acquisition. Way to go, guys!

February 2018

Reduce the number of spaceships to 6, using only the first 6 spaceships.

We decided that buying spaceships should not be the main focus of the game, hence we reduce the number of spaceships to focus on the necessary functionality for the upcoming battle and new exciting features.

Smart contract rewrite.

The rewrite is to accommodate the new features planned.

All spaceships bought on the current contract will be migrated to the new contract. In case the price of the spaceship changes in the new contract, you will be given one with the closest higher price.

An option will be available in the website to request a cash out from the old contract, for those players that left a positive balance in the old contract. So if you did not cash out your balance before the contract upgrade, don’t worry, you can still do it at your own pace.

The profit reward from spaceships acquisition will continue. By owning a spaceship you earn a profit when other players buy the same spaceship to join the game. That’s right, you don’t need to do anything else, no extra steps, just join the game and avail of the profit when others follow you.

Introducing PLASMA.

Plasma is the energy spaceships spend during operations.

It’s also a ERC20 token that can be traded in exchanges.

Players can obtain PLASMA in two ways:

• Spacedrops: Spaceships will receive PLASMA when stationary in their home planet (at the moment only Earth is available)
• During the sale event (IPO — initial plasma offer), dates to be defined.

Battle mode and upgradeable spaceships.

We are adding characteristics that will affect the battle. Spaceships will come with fixed values for Propulsion, Weight, Attack and Armour. These values are used to calculate Speed and Power, which will affect the spaceship chance to win a battle against another.

How does the battle work?

Players can add their spaceship to the battleground by depositing an amount of PLASMA. If player decides to remove a spaceship from the battle then the spent amount is fully refunded to their wallet.

The PLASMA amount to deposit varies, depending on the spaceship characteristics and its chance to win a battle.

Once a spaceship is in the battleground, another player can challenge it on a fight by also depositing an amount of PLASMA. This amount will depend on their spaceship characteristics and chance of winning, so players with higher chance of victory will have to deposit more PLASMA than players with lower chance of victory.

After the battle the winner spaceship gets the whole amount deposited by both parties, automatically transferred to the spaceship owner’s account.

New planets!

Spaceships can temporarily move to other planets, allowing them to unlock specific upgrades only available in certain planets.

Accessories.

Spaceship accessories available for purchase.

Upgrades can be purchased in the new accessories marketplace. When an accessory is applied to your spaceship it increases the chance of winning a battle.
