Happy 2019 to everyone! A new year is on the way, and blockchain is ready to move past 2018 and prepare for another amazing year. This week we look at projects that worked hard through their hangovers and made good progress on their projects. It was a little slow this week, but we are sure that many projects are working hard behind the scenes to make 2019 the best year yet for crypto.

MakerDAO

Maker announced this week that UNICEF France would begin to accept DAI in order to fund bounties into the exploration of blockchain and its social impact. UNICEF has worked closely with several communities recently by hosting hackathons in both Kazakhstan as well as Mexico. Learn more about this update here.

Dent

Dent announced on New Years Eve that they would be launching dent.exchange, which allows users to trade mobile data packages. It is available in over 28 countries currently, with SE Asian countries dominating the current use. Dent also announced that they have reached 7.6 million mobile app users, making it one of the most widely adopted blockchain companies. We are always proud to see the rapid development that Dent brings.

Bela

Bela has released their Android app as of December 31st. This is huge as Bela looks to continue to grow their user base and become a major player in the social media space. Download their new app here directly and make sure to give a great review!
