This week we have launched a new addition to the voting tools on nectar.community: those who do not have the time to research tokens each round and vote may delegate their voting power to a representative who can vote on their behalf. The new tools are live at nectar.community.
Ross Middleton, Commercial Director at Ethfinex, is standing as the first representative in the process. Ross has pledged to cast votes for the tokens which he believes can add the most to Ethfinex, based on his experience speaking with them on the front-lines:
Ross’ will be standing with the following Ethereum address: 0xEd557994671DddA053a582e73F2e8aa32bDE7D68
Becoming a delegate:
The delegates section on Nectar.community enables anyone to put themselves forward to represent the interests of other community members. As an example, you can choose to nominate yourself as a delegate, with a policy to vote for whichever token has highest trading volume on other exchanges. If you prefer not to participate in every listing vote as a Nectar token holder you can choose a delegate who best represents your interests, avoiding always needing to vote yourself.
At any time you may withdraw your delegation to take control of your own voting tokens.
We encourage those in the community who want to contribute to selecting the best tokens for Ethfinex to follow this example by outlining their policies and proposing themselves as a delegate.
