Pavencul’s small coffee producers join our platform to bring their excellent coffee to an international market and obtain better sales prices.

The coffee communities that make up EthicHub continue to grow. On this occasion, we want to present with all of you the Pavencul Community that has recently joined EthicHub. Pavencul is located in the municipality of Tapachula, Chiapas.

This new community is represented by D. Gabino Pérez and is made up of 17 families. Coffee Arabica is produced at a height of 1940 meters above the sea level in Pavencul, and thanks to the agreement we have reached with RWTC we can now bring this excellent product to China and achieve better sales price for our farmers.

It is not only important to provide financing to these small coffee producers, at much cheaper and more accessible rates, we also want to open new markets and foster a direct relationship between our producers and buyers, eliminating unnecessary intermediaries.

This first shipment of coffee to China will serve to publicize its exceptional quality, laying the foundations that will lead to future Contract farming. With this formula — promoted by the FAO — the buyers commit to direct Purchase Orders, thus granting farmers a more significant part of what the consumer pays for their coffee.

All of this would not be possible without your investments, which bet on profitable projects based on real and productive economies, represented by small producers.

So thank you very much to all the EthicHubers!

With the incorporation of Pavencul, there are already 9 coffee communities that are enjoying the advantages generated from operating on our platform. Before Pavencul, Las Delicias, Chespal, Chanjalé, San Rafael, Guatimoc, La Boquilla, La Soledad and Salchiji have done it.

As it usually happens with these types projects, EthicHub will cover all associated expenses, such as transportation, processing, insurance, bags, taxes, marketing expenses … Once the coffee has been sold and the principal and the interest have been amortized, the expenses generated from the operation will be discounted, in order to distribute the capital gains equally between EthicHub and the farmers.

Connecting people. Harvesting wealth.
