We are excited to announce that the EthSign team has received our first $450k investment. The funds will be mainly used for the full-time team, smart contract audit and legal consultation. EthSign is rapidly growing from a hackathon project to a reliable and easy-to-use Web3 application.

EthSign: Seed Round Investors

Starting in April, we registered a company in Singapore and secured investment from active builders such as: NGC Ventures, imToken Ventures, HashKey, Mr. Liang Xinjun (cofounder of Fosun Group), Ankr, Dorahacks, Incuba Alpha, Horizon Capital, Kernel Ventures, and more. The introduction of investors provides the project with capital and connections so the team can leverage itself into practical applications:

  • NGC is the most active investment institution in the circle. They have continued to invest and incubate projects in a bull-bear cycle in the past, accumulated rich experience and provided us with a lot of practical guidance;
  • imToken provides secure cryptocurrency wallets and decentralized identities for more than 12 million users, and is one of the largest ecological portals of Ethereum;
  • HashKey Group has a complete ecological layout and will provide EthSign with the opportunity to access practical applications;
  • Mr. Liang Xinjun, the co founder of Fosun Group, a multi-billion dollar multinational conglomerate holdings company, a successful entrepreneur, as well as an active Web3 ecological investor.
  • Ankr builds nodes for more than 40 blockchains and provides API services to support EthSign multi-chain deployment;
  • Dorahacks is one of the largest developer communities and will be the first to use EthSign in scenarios such as community grant distribution. We will also have more co-development cooperation in the DAO infrastructure;
  • Incuba Alpha is a unique incubation fund, and has given many professional opinions in the scene design of our combination with the DeFi and NFT fields;
  • Horizon Capital is our earliest supporter, guiding us through the legal process and assisting us with operational work
  • Kernel Ventures’ partner Mandy, is very familiar with the requirements of blockchain in e-government and compliance, and has provided us with a lot of information;
  • Hash Global is an active asset management institution in the field of blockchain and encrypted finance. It has deployed multiple tracks such as public chain, privacy computing, Web3, DeFi, and decentralized storage on a global scale.

The financing process is repetitive but not monotonous. The team received many feedbacks during the exchanges and made many friends. Hanjin is an active singer-songwriter. He is actively exploring the combination of music copyrights and NFTs; Jasmine Zhang is the partner at A&T Capital. She is the earliest investor we get in touch with and she has been paying attention to EthSign since last year. Huge thanks to Jasmine for the great advice she constantly gives on the details of the product. We are building an open and active community of open source projects! We are actively communicating and exhibiting within University backed blockchain organizations and communities all across the United States. And we have attracted many members from them. The team at EthSign is honored to receive the official support from Blockchain@USC (University of Southern California’s Blockchain Society), Blockchain Accerlation Foundation (Includes nine prestigious universities from the West coast) and Encode Club (a community of university students, researchers and developers building in blockchain. Branches throughout more than 75 Universities across the world), etc.

We are excited to announce that the highly anticipated, latest version of EthSign to several EVM-compatible blockchain mainnets will be deployed in the next two weeks! latest version of EthSign to several EVM-compatible blockchain mainnets in the next two weeks! In the new version, we have added a preview interface and many visual designs. In addition to the signature in the smart contract, users can also see their signature in the PDF agreement. The user experience of the new version is even closer to the traditional signature service! We will continue to strengthen the narrative of EthSign as an electronic signature platform in the initial stage of the project.

EthSign 3.0 will be launched in early May

Starting in August, we will focus on optimizing the ease of integration of the project, so that EthSign can be easily integrated as a link in more complex scenarios, such as painting copyright and other NFT and ABT casting and distribution, and DAO’s foreign investment process.

After strengthening these basic case scenarios, we will enter the second phase of the project and begin to explore other features of smart contracts. For example, the automatic triggering of some transfers or loan terms, the use of agreements as collateral to cast NFTs, and the on-chain credit system. But even after these exciting applications are available, we still need to accumulate more user feedback and development experience!

Welcome to join our community, learn about and try EthSign!
