Ocean Sponsor Aleph Zero is All About Scaling and Supporting Ecosystem Projects

ETHWarsaw is happening from August 30th to September 3rd. Do you have your tickets yet? Are you ready to make a splash with us? Get them now and read on to learn more about our first sponsor, Aleph Zero.

As the Conference and Hackathon nears, the tides of ETHWarsaw are ready to take on our Ocean Sponsors. Aleph Zero ecosystem project AZERO.ID made one of the biggest splashes last year as winners of the Aleph Zero bounty, taking the Web3 journey from ETHWarsaw hackathon, to launching publicly in the last days of August.

Meet Aleph Zero

The project is an ambitious L1 network focused on privacy and scalability. By combining a Proof-of-Stake consensus algorithm with Directed Acyclic Graph, Aleph Zero is able to deliver near-instant transactions at a low cost. It also makes use of the latest work in Zero Knowledge Proofs and secure Multi Party Computation to develop an innovative privacy engine called Liminal that will enable the network to keep user data private while remaining compliant with different regulations by employing a set of fraud protection mechanisms.

All of this has turned it into one of the fastest-growing blockchain ecosystems working with the Substrate framework — and for good reason. Aleph Zero supports its projects with a recently launched Ecosystem Funding Program that provides them with funding, infrastructure support, audits and other necessary resources to develop interesting use cases.

Projects working on the network also benefited recently from its Mainnet launch of smart contracts using ink!. This flexible, robust, and interoperable Rust-based programming language runs on WebAssembly and will facilitate the development of powerful and private dapps.

The team will also be supporting ETHWarsaw with bounties for top projects created during the hackathon. Be sure to go by the Aleph Zero ecosystem booth and meet the team building the network of use-cases.

“We’re very excited to come back to ETHWarsaw, the event that brought projects such as AZERO.ID to our ecosystem. The community here is full of the most engaged and forward-looking builders. Aleph Zero is ready to welcome and support more of these projects on their Web3 journey.” — Piotr Moczurad, Ecosystem Tech Lead

We are glad to have them back as Ocean Sponsors and look forward to watching them continue to solve the scalability and privacy challenges at this year’s Conference and Hackathon.
