RedStone was initialized by Jakub Wojciechowski in late 2020 who was building a blockchain project at ETH New York hackathon at this time and was looking for low-latency data which he couldn’t find. He came with the idea of RedStone, an innovative way to provide data for DeFi protocols. Instead of a typical push-model, RedStone proposes 3 tailor-made data consumption models, with pull-model being one of those.
Pull-model is an innovative way to provide data feeds where data is dynamically injected to user transactions achieving maximum gas efficiency and maintaining a great user experience as the whole process fits into a single transaction.
