Are you a web analyst? Have you heard about Snowplow? Do you want to try it, but installation looks too complicated? I have great news for you.

The first good news is that Simo Ahava wrote this great post describing the whole process. You can read it and follow every single step. At the end of the day, you will have your very own Snowplow machine in Google cloud. Wheee.

Second good news is that almost the whole process can be automated using scripts prepared by our team.

Just use our public repository:

https://github.com/etnetera-activate/snowplow-gcp-template/

You still have to manually setup GCP project, setup GTM and javascript tracker configure firewall and DNS. But the rest of the work will be done in less than 10 minutes. Whee!

It also contains a script for starting and stopping ETL machine and dataflows, which can save you a lot of money. Enjoy!
