We’re excited to announce that as of today, Etsy’s Craft Entrepreneurship Program is available in Spanish. Since launching Craft Entrepreneurship in 2013, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with nonprofits, libraries, and municipal agencies in our mission to expand access to microbusiness education for underrepresented creative entrepreneurs. Thanks to feedback from our partners, we have fully translated the Craft Entrepreneurship curriculum into Spanish in order to further expand the reach of the program.

After significantly streamlining the application and onboarding process last year, we’ve welcomed dozens of new program partners, allowing hundreds of new creative entrepreneurs to benefit from the curriculum. We’re hopeful that offering this program in a new language will help drive us towards our economic and social impact goals, which we made public in 2017, to make creative entrepreneurship a path to economic security and personal empowerment, and to enable equitable access to the opportunities we create.

It’s estimated that more than one-fifth of the US population speaks a language other than English at home, and more than 40 million US residents speak Spanish. We’re thrilled to be able to offer this program to a new community of future entrepreneurs.

If you’re interested in offering Craft Entrepreneurship to your community, please read our FAQs, and complete the organizational background form.
