“The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” ~‭Psalm‬ ‭118:6, 8, 14, 24

Where does your strength come from?

The message we most often hear these days, is that strength comes from within. People need to determine to stick it out, be strong, push through it.

Think about all the movies and messages you’ve heard that relate to finding your strength within you. It’s all over the place!

Trust in the Lord

He helps us to see things for what they are.

When we “make God our strength,” He pulls our hearts into a place where He provides us with an unmeasurable joy and peace that you can’t find anywhere else.

When we trust in Him, it doesn’t mean we stop trying hard…..it just means we are free to enjoy what God has given us. Our trust in Him brings us a joy you can’t find by just trusting yourself!
