How Women Shaped the Midterms — And Took American Democracy Back From the Brink
As the dust from the midterms settles, one thing’s becoming clear: go thank a woman, because they might have just saved America from fascism. After such a complex, close set of elections, the data’s slow to come in, and hard to parse. And yet what there is so far shows, well, what should be obvious to any living, breathing person. Women were pissed off.
I knew it when my lovely wife and I were driving through the little town I grew up in. Just outside DC, a cute little place. Snowy grinned from the back seat through the window.
