G’day.

As a foreigner (Australian) who’s just moved to San Francisco, I’m early in my journey of discovering all the city has to offer. I’ve heard stories of incredible seafood restaurants, electric cocktail bars and sushi to die for; but I haven’t experienced any of these things for myself yet.

And so, here is me documenting my findings. As I search through the streets of San Francisco looking for quality bars, breakfasts, restaurants, and roasters I’ll be making note of them to share with others.

Oh, and the name? In the 1840s — 50s San Francisco was a gold-mining town. In the midst of gold rush frenzy, the town became a place where hopefuls came far and wide in search of fortune. Now I’m on a search of my own.
