This is a shot from morning breakfast at 86 Tanner’s Hill!
Planning on doing these first-person snapshots regularly throughout the trip, so you can see the small details I’m experiencing (although we’ll see how consistently I remember/have wifi)
Anyway, the lobby of the hostel has a bar, several tables and couches, and a pool (or a little smaller, snooker maybe?) with cardinal and gold balls (fight on!). The bedding is really comfortable triple bunks, and showers/bathrooms are all really nice and clean!
Left of frame is a huge print of the NYC skyline.
Had some ‘virtually fat free’ yogurt for breakfast, a bunch of toast with jam, cereal, tea (no Weetabix unfortunately)…
Slept a pretty solid seven hours, and I don’t feel jet lagged! Woke up before Emily so I had time to eat breakfast and learn some software design patterns!
On my computer screen is a book on Cocoa Design Patterns (Cocoa is the software framework used to build software on all of Apple’s platforms) along with notes I was taking
Going to go wander around Central London today, and see the Sherlock Holmes museum among other sights!
Will probably take a tour through the itinerary of childhood memories tomorrow or Saturday! I’ll give Nancy and anyone else you think I should see a day’s notice.
