Significant changes to the way the HS2 railway will be brought into Euston have been unveiled. The new designs will mean Mornington Street bridge, Granby Terrace bridge and Hampstead Road bridge will no longer be demolished. The line will not emerge from under ground at Parkway but instead will be moved “several hundred metres south to a new location.”

“This is a massive change,” said Robert Latham, who lives in Silsoe House, opposite where the railway will now emerge from. “Clearly this is a good thing as the demolition of the three bridges was going to be very disruptive for residents.”

This was published in the Camden New Journal.
