The evan.network is a founding member of the International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA). The INATBA organized the first global Blockchain-Congress Convergence in Malagá in November. The European Commission, the EU Blockchain Observatory and the Alastria Forum have also taken part in the congress organization. INATBA provides a global forum for developers and users of DLT to interact with regulators and policymakers. Together with more than 100 other INATBA members, we want to advance the blockchain technology and set the standards. We were already able to make progress within the framework of the Convergence.

Crisis scenarios for more security: Results of the first global blockchain conference

Our assessor Nicolas Busch represented the evan.network during the “Requirements for Mobility Networks” panel and in the working group “Governance”. The panel discussed the chances and challenges of the blockchain technology application in the mobility sector. Nicolas has also given the plenum an insight into the Mobility Blockchain platform, which is currently being implemented based on the evan.network.

The roundtable of the INATBA working group “Governance” has gathered about 30 international representatives from politics, banks, and companies to present the current results of the working group and to define the program for the next years. In addition to the presentation of a classification system for different governance organizations of decentralized networks, which is currently being developed, three smaller groups have discussed further goals and working results with the participants. The working group has also taken up the participants’ suggestion to develop a series of worst-case scenarios for governance organizations both from a technical and organizational point of view. It is planned to define several unpredictable events as scenarios by which weaknesses of governance organizations can be identified and addressed. The goal of this approach is to increase the quality of decentralized organizations and make them safer and less error-prone.

The evan.network is a vendor neutral digital infrastructure that uses blockchain to create a trusted cooperation environment where business partners can work together to build and deliver digitized goods and digital services to end customers.
