Mining Reward and Distribution

EVA is a network-wide governance token and also a transaction fee token. The total amount of EVA is 1 billion, the total mining amount is 800 million, and the coin minting period is 10 minutes. Each POW block rewards 2000EVA, which is halved in around 1250 days.

Block rewards distribution is divided into 4 parts: Miner 80%, Team 10%, Validator 7% and Eco 3%.

The Team part will be released within 5 years, which is 304.56 EVA per block reward and stop releasing after reaching 80 million total.

The Eco and Validator part will be released block by block in proportion. Before the first halving, Validator part is 140 EVA per block reward and Eco is 60 EVA.

The Miner part is the rest of the block rewards, which is 1495.44 EVA before the first halving.

Notice: nodes that have participated in stake mining on AVIS testnet can still mine on EVA mainnet and receive the same benefits (1495.44 EVA per block) once completing the update within the stake mining period.

Please check out the litepaper for more details.

Mining Algorithm Update

The Evanesco mainnet mining algorithm is upgraded, the difficulty is increased by about 50% compared to the AVIS testnet. It takes about 1.5 minutes to complete the mining calculation using 2Ghz CPU. The memory resources required for mining will also increase.

Current recommended parameters for devices running on the Evanesco mainnet is as follows:

Mining Node:

single-core 2Ghz CPU, 6G memory, 10G hard disk, 10Mbps bandwidth.

Full Node:

single-core 2Ghz CPU, 6G memory, at least 100 G hard disk, 10Mbps bandwidth.

🍻 🍻 🍻EVA team is working on optimizing the mining parameters to reduce the cost of community participation in mining. Once successfully optimized, EVA team will announce on official Telegram and Twitter. Please stay tuned.
