The best B2B webinar tool
Since the appearance of COVID-19 pandemic by the end of 2019, conferences and events are canceled targeting the social distance to limit the spread and decrease the danger of the newly emerging virus. Webinars instead spread all over the world as a new form of event.
A webinar is an engaging online event where a speaker, or small group of speakers, deliver a presentation to a large audience who participate by submitting questions, responding to polls and using other available interactive tools.
Most people are familiar with Zoom and it is a great tool for 1 to 1, group meeting. There will be some unique value that a B2B webinar tool can bring to organizer.
I would like to do a comparison for these webinar tools.
- Zoom Webinar
- WebinarJam
- EventX Webinar
Live engagement with audiences
I vote live engagement effectiveness as the most important element for a B2B webinar tool.
1. Zoom Webinar
On Zoom Webinar, organizer can host Q&A, chat and polling with audience. This is good for normal webinar to allow audience engaging with the host online.
2. WebinarJam
Similar with Zoom Webinar, WebinarJam also allow audience to create polls during the Webinar with better UI.
3. EventX Webinar
EventX Webinar also comes with the standard chat, Q&A and polling features. Among these three, I like the flying emoji the best. As an audience, I can express my feeling by clicking the emoji button during the webinar. It also gives the speaker a kind of feedback whether his/her topic attracts the audience. With this slight difference, it turns one way communication into two ways interactions.
Price
What is the cost to organize a 500 pax webinar?
1. Zoom Webinar — $79/month
Zoom Webinar comes with an affordable tiered pricing, starts with $79 per month for 500 pax. Interestingly, the 1,000 pax webinar license lands on $349, which is 4.4x of the 500 pax webinar, meaning that the price is not directly proportional to the attendee number increase.
2. WebinarJam ($948 annually)
Unlike Zoom Webinar, WebinarJam charges annually. You will be locked-up for at least 12 months. Unless you are very happy with the software, it is generally always better for a buyer to commit the subscription plan monthly rather than annually. It gives you more flexible options to continuously try new platform. From the product side, it also need to stay competitive in order to prevent customer churn.
3. EventX Webinar (Free)
EventX is a free tool to host webinar up-to 1,000 pax till Dec 2021. I believe EventX’ strategy is to gain the market shares in this hot space.
