TL/DR: Eventbot now has a free plan and a paid plan!

Since launching in November 2017, Eventbot has been “in beta” as we gathered feedback from the awesome Slack community. We’re happy to announce that today Eventbot is leaving it’s beta phase and we’ve got two brand new plans to choose from! 🚀 🚀

Free as in beer

Lots of folks use Eventbot for casual events — from 👾 game nights to 🍖 potluck dinners, we’re ecstatic that Eventbot can help bring friends together! To encourage this, we’re offering the Eventbot Free Plan. This plan has all our most popular features entirely for free. That’s right, totally free.

$10/mo covers your entire workspace

We’re also introducing our first paid plan at $10/month. This plan is for organized teams who need more than the basics. On the Team Plan, you can create an unlimited number of events, use Eventbot in private channels, get priority support, and send your events from Slack to an external calendar app (like Google Calendar, iCal, or Outlook). All this for a flat fee of $10/month, which covers your whole team!

We researched different pricing models and feature combinations and found that Slack bots have some unique expectations. Overall, we decided to optimize for simple pricing that ensures we can keep building great features into Eventbot.

A big huge 💖 to all our beta users! We’ll be sending you a special coupon code as a thank you for all your feedback ✨ 🎟 ✨ ! Starting today, all new Eventbot installations will start on the Free Plan and we’ll switch everyone over on May 6th. We’re excited to keep building Eventbot for you and would love to know what you think about the new plans! 😻
